These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of fmcghire.com ("Platform"), operated by FMCG Hire ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Platform.
FMCG Hire is a specialist job board connecting employers in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry with job seekers. We provide:
We are a technology platform facilitating connections between employers and candidates. We are not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or party to any employment relationship or contract that may result from use of the Platform.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fmcghire.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
Employers may purchase listings to advertise genuine job vacancies. Each listing is active for 30 days from the date of payment. By posting a listing you represent and warrant that:

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these rules without refund.
Application and resume data shared with you through the Platform may only be used for the purpose of evaluating candidates for the specific role advertised. You may not share, sell, or retain candidate data beyond the recruitment process, and you must comply with all applicable data protection law (including GDPR where applicable) in your handling of that data.
By uploading a resume or creating a profile you confirm that all information is truthful and that you own or have the right to share the content. You grant FMCG Hire a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and process your profile and resume data for the purpose of operating the Platform (including AI-powered features).
When you apply for a role, your application and resume are shared with the relevant employer. FMCG Hire does not guarantee any response from employers and is not responsible for employer decisions. You should apply only to roles you genuinely intend to pursue.
You control whether your resume/profile is visible to employers searching for candidates. You can toggle visibility at any time from your account dashboard.
FMCG Hire uses artificial intelligence to assist with resume parsing, candidate–job fit scoring, and profile summaries. These features are provided as a convenience and are not a guarantee of suitability or outcome. AI-generated scores and summaries may contain errors; employers and candidates should exercise their own judgement and not rely solely on AI outputs in hiring decisions.
We use third-party AI inference services (currently OpenRouter) to power these features. Data submitted to AI features is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Job listing fees are displayed in USD at the time of checkout. Prices are set by FMCG Hire and may change; changes will not affect listings already paid for.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.
Once a job listing has been published and is live on the Platform, fees are non-refundable. If your listing is removed by FMCG Hire due to a technical error on our part (not a policy violation), we will issue a credit or refund at our discretion. If you have a billing dispute, contact us at billing@fmcghire.com within 7 days of the charge.

All content on the Platform that is not user-generated — including the FMCG Hire name, logo, design, career guides, salary data, job description templates, and FMCG Glossary — is owned by or licensed to FMCG Hire and protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our written permission.
You retain ownership of content you post (job listings, resumes, applications). By posting content you grant us a licence to host, display, and process it for the purpose of operating the Platform.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no guarantee that job listings are accurate, current, or that applying will result in employment.
AI-generated content (match scores, summaries, parsed data) is provided for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for employment decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMCG Hire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the above may not apply to you in full.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FMCG Hire and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) content you post on the Platform.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (payment obligations, IP rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will do so.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
We encourage you to contact us first at support@fmcghire.com before initiating any formal dispute — we aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
